What to bring

For space-making and ritual

We ask Sisters to bring what they can to help us create our sacred space in the Tent. Consider making your contribution a permanent donation, but also feel free to bring things you plan to take home.

  • Floor pillows/cushions to sit on in the Tent

  • Battery-powered or solar string lights or lanterns (with new batteries, please)

  • Smudge sticks

  • Candles

  • Other tent decorations

  • Large floor mats (beach mats or similar)

For the silent auction

Last year's inaugural silent auction raised $600 to create a scholarship fund for future Magdalene Feasts. If you would like to donate an item, here are a few ideas. Feel free to be creative with your contributions; any items not used in the silent auction will be offered in the Goddess Swap!

  • Goddess garb

  • Jewelry

  • Ritual/spiritual items

  • Oracle decks

  • Books

  • Handcrafted item

Personal items

These are some items we specifically recommend; this isn’t a comprehensive list of everything you might need or want to bring.

  • 3 gallons of potable drinking water for yourself. The water at Windover is safe but not nice tasting, and you'll need water to drink, for morning beverages, and for cooking

  • Breakfast food, Thursday dinner, all lunches, and snacks.

  • If you have a highly restrictive diet, play it safe and bring a few things from home. We're unable to provide GF bread this year, for example

  • Your morning beverage of choice - coffee, tea, cream, honey, etc.

  • Coffee press or other prep for tent campers (supposed to be provided in campers)

  • Meat, if you'd like to have some

  • Gussy up! Priestess garb with attention to Purple and/or white this year

  • A personal item for the altar

  • Drums, rattles, etc.

  • Personal place setting (required)

  • Coffee/tea mug

  • Water bottle

  • Natural insect repellent

  • Swimsuit/beach towel

  • Personal bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows)

  • Shower towels/cloths, soap, shampoo, etc.

  • Flashlight/headlamp

  • Journal

  • Bicycle (totally optional, there are some nice places to ride nearby)
